The current business
scenario is bent on challenging the toughness of the
toughest. The drive for globalization and integration of
world markets is bringing in radical changes in the Indian
environment. These changes are threatening the survival of
organizations and radically changing time-tested business
practices. For many functional heads and other senior
managers, it has become imperative to cope up with the
uncertainty & complexity in the Indian business environment.
In order to tackle the
dynamic changes in the external environment, organizations
need to peep inside and arrive at functional core
competencies, which can be converted into functional
strategies to respond successfully.
I-COM 2007 will focus on
four major themes based on functional areas. It offers an
opportunity for researchers, academicians and industry
practitioners to engage in constructive dialogue on

A NOTE
TO CONTRIBUTORS
Expected participant profile
The writing contributions
can be made by Academicians, Doctoral Students, Industry
Practitioners, Consultants and Researchers who wish to
participate in the development of Innovation for growth
in India- Opportunities & Challenges.
Abstract
The abstract must have the
title, author/s name/s, objectives, methodology and expected
contribution of the study. The abstract should be strictly
limited between 200-400 words.
Full
Paper/Case Study
The manuscript should be
typed neatly on one side of A4 size paper in double space. A
3 cm margin is to be maintained on all four sides. The paper
should include headings like; Title, Name of Author/s,
Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology,
Findings along with References. Author/s present information
is to be given as footnote on the first page of the article.
The length of the article should not exceed 20 typed pages
excluding tables and/or figures. The abstract has to be
submitted in MS Word or 'pdf’ format through electronic
medium (e-mail) only. The electronic submission should also
include name of author/s, their addresses (postal & e-mail)
and phone/ fax numbers.

• Blind-review of abstract
